Hi. I’m Ariel. I’m an interdisciplinary designer based in Portland, Oregon. I currently work at Instrument. For more than half of my time there, I have been focused on designing puzzles for Google Developers. My role on these projects spans from concept development to puzzle mechanics, often working closely with developers to create technically engaging experiences. The rest of the time I collaborate on product vision and mutable web design systems with other Google and Alphabet teams.

Before Instrument, I founded an experimental platform that facilitated and published conversations between students and professionals focused on the intersection between design, ethics, and social change. I also served as publication designer for KSMoCA, a contemporary art museum and social practice project inside a public elementary school.

In my free time, I collaborate with my husband on art direction, styling, and graphic design work for small businesses and personal projects. But these days we mostly hang out with our kid.
